Car hesitates after start and shakes likes wants to die out?Changing fuel filter?

If I needed to change my fuel filter would my check engine light come on?And how do I change it?
the car will hesitate and shakes a little. It did it after I put gas in car and miles later. Never did it before. Ive used injector cleaner before. Thanks

Scan the computer for code/s and check fuel pressure and also for restriction in the exhaust system

Use a fuel pressure tester-hook it up to the fuel test port on the fuel rail-
