03 explorer 4x4 4.0l starts runs ok at about 2000rpm engine acts like it has rev limiter on it 60+ psi fuel pressure

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?
Check/Test the MAF and TPS sensors-You sure the transmission is not slipping?

no codes truck is garage tune up ? truck drives about 40 top speed
