Car will not turn over. When the key is turned on there is no clicking sound. A new battery was installed 8/09....there were no warnings for example, noises, hard start, etc. Power windows, lights, all work, but the radio will not. Could this be just a fuse problem, electrical or simply the battery? How do I check, where would I start to help isolate the problem?

No crank at all/nothing/nada:

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

kimmy, there's most likely a short in the wiring in your steering column. Does the engine turn over when you try and start it?

kvargas: were you able to get this problem fixed?
