03 tahoe idles weird. Starts runs for a minute then dies

Has been idleing weird if it isn't moving. Has ran fine and the other day I went out to start it... it was dead. Had to jump it. Started and fine ran this morning, then went back out to start it again 10 minutes later and it would start and then die. Did that for like five minutes trying to give it gas and it lost all power. Had to jump it again. It turns over but will die with in a few minutes if you don't hold your foot on the gas...
