2003 Chevrolet Avalanche Repair Question

Chevrolet Avalanche Engine Problem
Electrical noise is heard through the radio, when on, and engine is running. noise increases with engine r p m. could this be caused by the alternator or something else ?

Sounds more like spark plug wire interference do you have a portable am/fm radio?
