Sounds like a sticking vent valve or a spider built a web clogged it up or a pinched hose. Any codes in the computer?

The canister is is bolted to the floor pan above the fuel tank rearward. Are you getting extending cranking when starting?

If you cant start the car after filling the tank with gas then the most common cause is a bad evap canister purge solenoid.
