My car suddenly overheaed with now warning lights when to red quickly, was on motorway so took it carefuul to next juntion to get off and turned it off, wouldnt start, AA man found hose split caused by fan rubbing it, made temp repair but car still was steaming, I have done alot off damage?

Perhaps it has yes. Overheating is not good for the M54 motor
