Volkswagen Jetta Mechanic Problem
My windshield wipers won't come on some times. I have to get out of car a move wiper arm and then they come on after several attempts. What is the problem please help?

Could be electrical or mechanical... if the pivots are stiff, remove the assembly and free-up. Here is a sample video I made while freeing-up a New Beetle wiper assembly:

To determine if it is an electrical issue, you need the check the connector with a testlight.
