MY 2002 VW BEETLE WIPERS WORK SOMETIMES , SOMETIMES STOP MID WINDSHIELD, SOMETIMES WONT CUT OFF COULD IT BE THE RELAY IF SO WHICH ONE AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED

My wipers after theyve been on a while will stop just whereever they want to and then after 20secs i can move the wiper arm and they work for about 30sec then stop and i have to repeat the process could it be the relay if so which one and where is it located

could be a bad ground to motor assembly or an internal motor assembly fault.

How do you get to the motor to check the ground

thanks do you know where the relay is located in case i need to check it too i cant find and diagrams online to tell me where its located and if there is more than one relay

on relay panel behind left dash.
