Check engine light

Hello i recently check the codes for my car the 2002 toyota Rav4. And it read the factory fuel air metering. Will that affect my Automatic transmission? Cause my trans is acting up durig take off. It feels like its taking off in 2nd gear. But when its speed is up there already its fine. Reverse is okay. Its just at initial stop then you go. What seems to be the problem. Thanks 2carpros.

You're not going to know until you resolve the code issue. The programming in the computer varies from one vehicle to another and they could be related.

So is there a way that you can give me a diagram of the fuses and sensor locations for the 2002 toyota rav4. Just to know where the fuel air metering is at. Thanks 2carpros.

I would be looking at the O2 sensor but that should not affect the transmission, did you scan the transmission individually or are you just using a cheap generic scanner?
