I was driving, suddenly a loud noise, the driver side, front wheel would not turn. a bar or something broke, can you tell me what this is? Help!!!!

If the coil spring broke you may not be able to see it without removing the wheel. Usually the sharp end shreds the sidewall of the tire. If the car rolls freely in neutral, a cv joint may have broken, but that's not real common.
