Tried turning off my radio and the dash lights went out and radio won't turn on

Always check the fuses first. Don't just look as sometimes they look good but aren't. Get a cheap test light at the auto parts store. Theyre huge time savers. Replace the fuse if its bad. And then keep an eye on it. If it fails again then theres an issue that's causing it to blow.
