If there is a short would if effect all six plugs. Or I'm I looking at a pcm problem. And what do I have to do to fix it. It's frustrating ever time I go to start the van not knowing if it's going to start. So I have not traveled to far from home. Where I live we have no public transportation.

If I do find out that the pcm is the problem can I replace it with the one for my 2000 montana without having to program it? Whats the chances I have a broken wire? Would any sensor's cause the same problem? In my book it's said that if a sensor fails the pcm would go back to the last readings and use that to run the engine is this true?

quick question: condition of car keys? I have a 1999 Montana - trouble starting sometimes. My key has some corrosion up in the shaft where the electronic chip is (inside the rubber/plastic head of the key). Since having a new key made ($55 or so at the hardware store) - no more problems.
