Evap emissions
Have 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. 3.1 Motor and have code P0440 for evap system. Code is inactive and randomly sets. Any common problems, or do I need to purchase an repair manual and dig into tests. Looking for short cut, if it available?

Already been there, not real useful. Still at square 1.

Bring it in have it smoke tested my last advise this one can be tough to deal with-
