engine keeps overheating

My 2002 pontiac grand am keeps overheating. i replaced the thermostat but it still instantly overheated. im running it without a thermostat now. it cools now but pushes water out my reservoir over flow. how do i fix this issues?

So both upper and lower radiator hoses are getting really hot?Also is the radiator cooling fan coming on when its supposed too?If it is is the air being blown out of the radiator really hot?Have you checked your radiator cap yet?Is it reading overheating on the temp gauge or is it just boiling over the radiator cap?
