car shuts off even after jump. and battery went dead one day after replacing.

i have a 2002 grand am 2.2 and my car shut off while driving. Ok well I got a jump. drove about two miles to my friends house. Next morning wont start. Then we jump it again and shut right off. I went up and bought a new battery drove 25 miles home. next morning battery dead and back to square one
