How can I get an aftermarket head unit to work

In my peugeot 206 1.4 lx 2002 as it doesn't turn on or off with the ignition? JVC head unit doesn't turn on or off with the ignition, I have to press the on/off button to turn it on and off.

To turn the stereo off with the igniton, you would have to find a power source that is hot only when igniton is on.
I would not reccomend that as head units are sensitive and might not take to being forced off other than by button.

You can use a test light to find an < "Igniton on" power source. Using this it would lose power with the igniton off. You can get an "Add-a-Tap" from auto parts stores in the electrical section to add a fused terminal connector to your fuses.
