Four cylinder front wheel drive automatic 66,565 miles

I Intermittent wipers shutter, stop, start and are not smooth when being used. When wipers are not on intermittent they work fine. This is the front windshield wipers. Any ideas on where to start would be greatly appreciated?

How old are the wiper? Otherwise I am thinking you need a new wiper motor sense the pulse board for the delay part is part of the wiper motor.

Wiper blades look good. I just bought the car used a month ago. Thank you for verifying that the motor control board is in the motor housing. The motor assembly seems pretty straight forward to replace. I will give it a try.
Thanks!

Okay, sounds great. Let me know how it goes with the wiper motor change if for some reason it does not fix it we will dig deeper.

Just fixed mine and super easy (twenty minutes)
1. Take the cover and wipers off (remove nuts and set aside).
2. Use pliers to pinch bottom to remove plug to motor.
3. Remove wiper assembly (three bolts).
4. Remove hex nuts then plastic cover next to motor (there is a seal, so pry around).
5. Clean lube off contacts from circuit board and center of disc.
6. Reassemble in reverse, careful with windshield.
7. Bask in your glory.
