'02 Oldsmobile Alero starting only when it feels like.

(I'm not sure if this is in the right category, but Engine mechanical-Ignition system is my best guess. Could be fuel injectors? Or anything else.)

My car has been doing this for over 9 months now and can't get it to "not start" at a repair shop to pull the codes. Lol. The first start of the day it always starts. But at different times it chooses not to. The vehicle has fuel and spark, so I don't get it, Starter and Fuel Pump have been checked and work properly. Seems whenever I get anyone to look under the hood, the damn car starts just fine! When I get gas and end up stranded there I have to wait, and sometimes it takes 20mins others 3hrs before it will start for me.

Vehicle has no other symptoms or problems!

Soo frustrating.

Did you try holding gas pedal slightly or all the way to floor?

So your saying you definately have checked for fuel and spark when it wont start. What about checking injector pulse.
