Hello , how do I troubleshoot my used blower motor, I've got power to the motor but it doesn't do anything(noise, motion), I have one connector with two prongs but I have power to both prongs at the blower motor when I expected one prong to be ground. Where am I going wrong? Where is the ground for the motor?
thanks Jearl bjearl@yahoo. Com

I believe the blower motor is grounded through the body of the vehicle. If you have power to it and it doesn't run, I would say the motor itself is bad.

Power to one side and ground the other side to something metal. It should come on. If it does not, it may be a bad motor or a bad ground on your end.
