Nissan Maxima Blower motor Problem

Hello ,how do I troubleshoot my used blower motor,I've got power to the motor but it doesn't do anything(noise, motion),I have one connector with two prongs but I have power to both prongs at the blower motor when I expected one prong to be ground.where am I going wrong ? where is the ground for the motor?
thanks Jearl bjearl@yahoo.com

I believe the blower motor is grounded through the body of the vehicle. If you have power to it and it doesn't run, I would say the motor itself is bad.

power to one side and ground the other side to something metal. it should come on. if it does not, it may be a bad motor or a bad ground on your end.
