2002 Mitsubishi Montero Repair Question

Wont idel and shuts off. we can drive it just when you stop at a redlight or stop sighn it will idel real low and shut off and the last two days the b
we bought a new battery, cleaned egr valve, reset the computer, went to auto zone and tested every thing.

were there any codes??
there is an idle control valve that may be failing. it needs to be monitored by a shop to see what it is being commanded to do.

Try cleaning the throttle body and IAC.

cleaned the IAC valve and it worked, it will idle now.
