Engine light on after turn ignition. Wont start. Fuel good to rods spark good. No go?

Fuel and spark good-check engine compression this will tell you something-could be a timing belt/chain, valve and ignition timing off-also check fuel pressure if its within specification-be advised I have no references on this Mits Model-
