LOCKED MASTER KEY IN THE TRUNK, SECONDARY KEY WON'T OPEN TRUNK OR ALLOW THE OPEN TRUNK SWITCH TO WORK.

2002 Mitsubishi Diamante • 18,000 miles

Can anyone help me to access the trunk without having to call and pay a locksmith?

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR RIG

I DID GOOGLE IT TO SEE PICS OF IT

WITH THE DINOSAURS I GREW UP WITH

. POP THE BOTTOM OF THE REAR SEAT OUT. SLING IT OUT IN THE YARD

REMOVE A FEW BOLTS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE REAR SEAT BACKREST USUALLY AT THE BOTTOM (WERE CONCEALED BY THE SEAT BOTTOM)

NOW-A-DAYS THESE BOLTS ARE MOST LIKELY "TORX" (STAR-BIT). SOMETIMES A REALLY TIGHT FITTING ALLEN WRENCH MIGHT FIT IN AND TURN A TORX BOLT

SNATCH OUT THE BACKREST

AGAIN. SLING IT OUT IN THE YARD

PEEL BACK ANY SORTA INSULATION

OBTAIN FLASHLIGHT. GIVE IT TO THE 10 YEAR OLD SKINNY NEIGHBOR KID

PROMISE HIM FIVE BUCKS UPON HIS RETURN WITH YOUR KEY

LIKE I SAID--I DON'T KNOW YOUR RIG

OUR SPARE CAR (A '95 DODGE NEON) HAS TWO PANELS YOU SNATCH DOWN SO THAT THE REAR SEAT BECOMES PART OF THE TRUNK, FOR TOTIN' LONG ITEMS. SURELY YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT, IF YOURS WAS SO EQUIPPED!

LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH OVER $5 HE DEMANDED TO CRAWL INTO THE TRUNK

WAITIN' ON GOOD NEWS
