My engine light just came on, I looked under the hood to find the coolant bone dry, is this the problem?

Your going to have to go to a auto part's store like auto zone and have them scan your car for code's to see why the light came on. Post what the code number's are the actual number's. Post it on this question. You are also find out where your loosing your coolant.
