Good afternoon everybody I was hoping someone can help me am trying to buy a variable tumble control system solenoid valve. But I went to the dealership and I took the part with me to show them but steel wont get it because they didn't have it in stock and he wasn't sure because that part I have it has a Mitsubishi sign on it. And the diagram he had the vtcs was located at the rear of intake manifold passenger side. And the one I have is on top center of manifold. Does someone knows the part # or is it the same only deferent locations thanks an advance.

Your car also has a Variable Inertia Charging (VICS) Solenoid valve which is located close to the VTCS. Perhaps the dealer is confusing the two. I've checked all of my sources and only see the VTCS as being on right side of the intake manifold. However the VICS is located more centrally on the intake manifold.

Therefore, if I'm wrong and the dealer is wrong, there is a possibility that your engine is the Japanese version. Have the dealer to check the VIN number to be sure or check the engine number located on the side of the block.
