02 land rover discovery 65k. No history on vehicle not running when found. Now low power (severe bog) under load in all gears including reverse. Rpms will raise without power to engine mainly on hills. Revs out smooth in neutral. Low vacume pressure. Cats are getting red hot. No codes coming up when tested. Dropped cats, no change. Things we have recently replaced MASF sensor (code was up now gone), made run and idle. Timing chain and sprockets, cam sensor, crank sensor, wires, plugs, and tune parts. Head gasket, valve gask. No coolant in oil. Compression 120 to 130. Any ideas? Thanks

The cats being red hot indicate a rich condition and they are now very overheated. I believe the the cats are now bad and part of your problem. Fuel pressure must be checked along with compression and timing. I would also look at the fuel pressure regulator for a ruptured bladder allowing fuel directly into the intake. You can tell this by removing the hose from the valve and looking for dripping fuel or dampness.
