Put a new timing belt on, it is aligned properly and the car only starts when I floor it. Any suggestions?

How did it run before you changed the timing belt?Why did you change the belt did it break?

It ran great before, just now all of the sudden does not want to start unless I floor it, that is why I was wondering about the alternator? I can not think of any other reason it would not be running right, because everything is aligned correctly. How can I tell if it is VTEC or VVTI engine? My thing is Chevy's. Not foreign cars. LOL
