Emission control system cel error

I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 L 6 cylinder, I have a CEL code P0456 – EVAP Leak Monitor Small Leak Detected. I've looked at the emission control system but don't see any cracked hoses. There is a component next to to the emission control solenoid that I don't recognized but appears to be connected and has a hose that runs to the intake manifold which is cracked and looks like it could leak. Do you know what this is and what else the CEL code could mean?
