My oil goes on and off while im driving
My oil light came on so I put 3 quarts of oil in and now my oil light turns on while im stopped , not all the time .

was your engine 3 qts low on oil?

Yes, it was, it is in the safe zone now,

well if engine is not ticking i would suspect bad oil sending unit. You will need to have oil pressure manually checked .or just have sender changed
