Jaguar X-Type Sensor Problem
Re:2002 X-type 3.0 135000 miles 5spd. AWD
After several attempts to fix a supposed bad connection to the air intake throttle the car is making a whistling or howling noise now. Most notable at about 30mph when slowing down through this speed range. Going faster or slower it can be heard but not as intense. What if any info is there ? This all started with a CHECK ENG light . Cam positioning sensor replaced, Mass air sensor replaced, Reference sensor replaced and I believe the crankcase breather tube was also replaced. The check eng light has ceased but making an awful noise when going down the road shifting through speed ranges. Any dam help where to go from here would be rewarded in gold bullion.
