2002 jaguar 3.0 x-type-I removed After batt install and cable cleaning it wouldn't start

iremoved batt to replace the upper radiator hose. i re installed the batt,cleaned the cable ends put the key in no start. minimal crank and lights came on dash. i reset the key by turning 4x from acc to start and the fuel reset. same thing. Put the key in start and cranked it over by the solenoid. it cranked but did not fire.any help would be appreciated. Thank you
