Maybe Alternator or Serpentine Belt?
On my way home I noticed my idle was alot quieter then it usually is.
Then as I was waiting at a really long light, the light turned green and the car kind of spurted as if it was going to die as I eased on the gas.
I turned the car back on a few hours later trying to figure out what the problem was, I gave up and just as i shut it off it made a peculiar squeaking noise directly near the serpentine belt.
Any ideas?

could be the belt or tensioner but that would not give you the hesitation.
is the check engine light on??

No there is no check engine light on at all, so from what you have read so far you don't think its the alternator?
