What could be wrong with my car?

As Im starting to drive off, it takes a while for it to go. As Im driving it looks like Im forcing it. It sounds like Im racing but its a big noise coming from the engine.

So does it sound like the transmission is slipping?Also have you checked for codes in the computer?

Automatic or manual transmission? If auto, have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition?
