Honda Civic Coolant Problem
My car keeps over heating but then once the heat gage gets all the way up into the red it goes bacjk down by its self. is it a ther o mastate problem?

Have you checked or change the thermostat? Is the radiator staying full or is it loosing coolant?

It could be going back down because it ran out of coolant and the sensor can't read air. This will fry your engine in a heartbeat. You needs to have the system pressure tested to locate and repair any leaks.
