Why is CEL flashing when idle

2002 Honda accord check engine light on and blinks only at idle. Car runs fine, rough at idle. Low oil now corrected. What is it?

missfire. blinking indicates a plug, wire fault. have it check to verify

Check for trouble codes first. When MIL comes on, they should not blink. Blinking could mean a fault in the wiring circuit.
