Ford Taurus Idler pulley Problem
Is there anyway i can bypass the ac compressor with a shorter belt. its a 3.0 2v. i'm near broke till the first of the month and am trying to fix as cheap as possible for now. if so do you know what belt i need. thanks for any help!

I don't think it is as simple as just a shorter belt. Check at the local parts store. I believe they make idler pulleys that can take the place of the compressor.
