Ford Taurus Catalytic converter Problem
My car makes a rattling sound but not all the time. When I take it on the highway or interstate the noise goes away.

Does it sound like it is coming from under the car? If so, take a rubber mallot and tap on the exhaust system to see if there is a loose heat shield. Also, the inside of the catalytic converter can also come loose and rattle.
