Yes I beleave the code PO1747 refers to a transmission problem.

This sensor is a internal transmission part it is located under the valve bodies. When working with this trans precission torqueing of the valvebody is a must they are torqued in inch lbs and have to be exact to the specs. Good luck

Billymac thank you for the information the good luck part makes it sound a little ify. I have done many of the older transmissions in the past and just got back in to working on them. So I have some caching up to do on the newer stuff. Do you know if this is a tipical problem with this transmission. Anyway thanks again.
