2002 Dodge Ram Truck Dead This Morning After Jumped Would Start Soon Took

My truck was dead this morning. After I jumped it, it would start but as soon as I took my foot off of the accelerator it would die. I could keep starting it, but it would die every time I took my foot off of the accelerator. Could it be the battery or do I have another issue?
