Check engine light
My check engine light is on i fixed what was wrong with it , does the check engine light go off on its own or do u have to erase them ?

It will shut off eventually after so many key cycles if the fault is gone.Its best to have the code cleared with scan tool.Take it to a auto parts store and have them clear the code.That way you will make sure you fixed it.I have thought i fixed a check engine light before and was suprized it wasnt fixed before.
