Battery light came on the other day

Battery light came on the other day. I had the Battery and Alternator tested and the alternator tested bad. I just replaced alternator and recharged the battery. Light is still on and the van seems to be running off of battery until the battery dies. Is their a fuse, or fusible link that I can check?

Unfortunately the weather has been crappy, so had it tested at Advanced auto parts on the vehicle. According to their equipment it was putting out 8 volts. Remanufactured part from Car Parts Warehouse.

Have it re checked to verify 14 to 14.5 volts.

If both battery and alty are good -I would say this is being caused by the computer controlled of the alternator field windings-if wiring, fuses and ASD relay are ok-
