Chrysler PT Cruiser Gas Problem
Water pours out the reservoir, antifreeze leak was repaired and then freeze plug replaced. still overheats, smell antifreeze. Spent about $1000. since problem started Jan 2. HELP !!!

Sounds like a severely leaking cylinder head gasket. Your mechanic can verify that with a chemical test. He will draw air from the cooling system through a glass cylinder with two chambers partially-filled with a special dark blue liquid. If combustion gases are present, the liquid will turn bright yellow.
