where is the thermistate located

If its a 3.5 liter
the thermostat is located in the lower radiator hose, the housing is attached to teh engine and has a heater hose attached to it also, if you follow th elower hose to the engine you will see the housing i am refering to BUT be aware it is acessed from under the car and is a royal pain to change
