My blower motor fan works for a while then will stop. wont work on any speed for long. i replaced the blower fan module already and i still have the same problem. do i need to replace fan selector switch. this is a 2002 avalanche
When i turn on the a/c or the heat sometimes the fan will work sometimes it will not. i just replaced the blower fan module and its doing the same thing. how can i check the fan speed selector to see if it works properly. or do u have any other suggestions on what the problem is. When the a/c or heat does come on it blows cold or hot but the fan blows only one speed no matter where the fan switch is set.

Seems to be a failing fan motor. Give the fan motor housing a little banging with you hands and if the motors starts working, it is due for replacement.

when its goes out us a test light to check the power and ground to the motor.
