My transmission is shifting late. What causes that? I checked and replaced the trottle position sensor. But it is still doing it. Is it the speed sensor? Which one and where is it located? The transmission expert said it is not the transmission. Thank you for yopur help.

You need to see the tps voltage to be sure it is working. It can be monitored on a scan tool.

There is a governor in the trans that regulates the shifting as well. This needs to be checked.

Other than that, it may be valve body.

How did the trans expert check the trans?
