Hi,
I own a BMW 530 2002, it has a fault where the blower keeps fluctuating on its own when in operation and as now started turning itself on even when the ignition is off. I pulled the fuse which controls all of the heating/blower controls but a fan inside the dashboard area can be heard running intermittetly thus flattening the battery overnight.

Can anybody help please ? Is this a known fault
Many Thanks in anticipation

there is a final stage unit that is the controller for the blower contained in the hvac controller.

you need help from a shop with a scan tool to monitor what is happenings.

a very expensive guess if it is not the issue but all powers and grounds need to be verified first before looking at controllers.

It is the final stage, no need to guess or have it scanned. Just replace it.
