Nothing at all happens when I turn the key

My 2001 S80 will not start. Nothing at all happens when I turn the key. All accessories work fine--lights, radio, windows, etc. I have tried all three of our keys, thinking the problem might be with my key. None work. Could it be the starter or the something else?

The care was working fine when I used it three days ago. Now, there is not even a click when I turn the key.
