idle air control valve

i recently replace the iac ( idle air control valve. on a 2001 Volvo S40. because the code read back P0507. I follow the instruction given by the mechanic . 1. to reset the code via the scanner, 2. to remove the ecm fuse 3. to disconnect the battery ground terminal .. I did all of the steps so but the check engine light is still on.. do you have any suggestion what could be the problem.

Use a scanner to reset the code's instead of pulling fuse's etc you have a obd2 system you need to use the scanner to reset the code's.If you don't live in california go to a auto part's store and have them reset the code.If it doesn't clear that way you have another problem.
