Hello there hope you well. I drive a Toyota Picnic. I noticed a problem with my cooling system. When I drive with the air conditioning on (with all fans on) I dont lose any coolant via the expansion tank. However, when I drive without the air conditioning on, as soon as I shut the engine off, all of the coolant in the expansion tank gushes out via the venting pipe on the expansion tank. What could be causing all this? Thanks in advance

I replaced my radiator cap with a new one and everything is back to normal. I have been driving my car for days without any problems from the cooling system.

Thanks a lot hmac300
