Can you convert from manual to auto transmission?
Hi,I am getting a 2001 Toyota MR2 spyder as a gift but it is manual. Can I get it converted to automatic transmission safely and how much will it cost? Where can I go to get it done properly? (Please do not tell me buy another car) haha, thanks

sell it and buy 1 with automatic. or learn to drive stick? or advertize for someone to do changeover. would likely involve trans and axles/wheel hubs and wiring and computer and even exhaust changes.
